Wonderful service and hospitality. As soon as we were seated we received complementary appetizers, garlic break with entrees and a complimentary desert. Food solid, very good. Old school atmosphere. We will be back!

My friend Miss Lillian REALLY loves this place, and has been dragging me here for at least 15 years; I think she's been coming since she was a kid. The place has real Hollywood ambiance (photos) and the staff are very nice and helpful. The food is exceptional (both quality and quantity) and priced well (especially considering what's happened since Covid). That being said, still expect to spend $30-40 a plate with accessories and/or drinks plux tax and tip. (More or less depending upon how you order, Pizza and sandwiches are cheaper.) WORTH IT.

We dined at Palermo Italian Restaurant when they had a neighbor location near our home in La Canada. Their food has always been the same as it is now.....top notch, delicious and pleasing. The same goes for their service and the way the owners Tony and Antonette make everyone feel like "familia". Sunday was no different as we met good friends there to celebrate his birthday. They had been there two years ago after a performance at the Pantages. When he told me afterwards that he found this great Italian restaurant near Hollywood, without a thought, I said Palermo! He was astonished that I knew where they had dined. We both agreed that it's that good and it reminds him of restaurants from his youth in NYC. We will be back and we will continue to enjoy Chicken Diane, Fettuccine Alfredo and Pizza Roma from Palermo.

If your looking for authentic Italian, than look no further. Portion sizes are humungous, so they can definitely be shared. It was my first time there and I was impressed. The ambiance is family like and comfortable with an array of wines to choose from. The service was excellent. The food was so good and they timed it perfectly so that you wouldn't have a table full of food waiting for you to eat it. Be careful with the appetizers because once we finished it, the salad, a glass of wine.... we were full lol. we took two bites of the food and packed it to go. I had so much food left over that. I took it to work the next day and shared with my coworker for lunch and I still had leftover for dinner that same night again....it's Italian so definitely share share share share and share.
